Terms & Conditions

Please request a site-specific quote.
All plant equipment leases are quoted per hour.
Our standard rate includes a competent operator with a valid medical certificate.
Standard PPE includes safety shoes, reflective vest, and a hard hat.
Normal working hours is from 7am to 5pm with a 1-hour break.
Normal working hours include travelling to and from site.
Overtime, Saturday, Sunday & public holidays will be charged at an additional rate for the specific plant equipment leased.

For short term lease, full payment must reflect in our bank account before plant will be dispatched to site.
For long term lease, payment must reflect in in our bank account for additional days of rental at least 12 hours prior to rental term concluding and a new terms & conditions letter must be signed by the Lessee.

DSB Plant Hire will not accept any liability for loss or damage caused by operators or plant whatsoever.
Operators to be managed by Lessee during work activities and clear instructions to be communicated to operators.
Tyre punctures, cuts, and damaged rims on site will be for the account of the Lessee.
On days that our plant cannot work due to conditions out of our control (like inclement weather, industrial action etc.) we will invoice 50% of quoted rates.
Please note that any form of operator poaching is strictly prohibited within our company’s policies and values.

DSB Plant Hire will ensure that the plant is topped up with fuel as per the operator’s needs analysis to ensure the plant does not have any standing time.
Fuel drop price will be included in site-specific quote for remote sites.

DSB Plant Hire will lease the plant with a full tank fuel.
The Lessee will return the plant with a full tank fuel.
Plant standing time while waiting for fuel will be for the account of the Lessee.
Damages to plant due to dirty or incompatible fuel will be for the account of the Lessee at one of our reputable Mechanical Technicians.

Operator travelling to and from remote sites where accommodation is not available will be included in the quote.
Operator accommodation at remote sites to be arranged by the Lessee and will be for the account of the Lessee.
Operator accommodation to be of sound construct, a toilet, bath/shower and running water to be available. Operators are not allowed to sleep in plant.
For long term leases the Lessee will be required to ensure transport for the operator to town if site is in a remote location.

Lessee to ensure that plant is parked behind a locked gate at night when plant is required to stay over on site.
If there is not a secured parking bay the Lessee is to ensure that there is security at night when plant is required to stay over.
